1.Object
The object of this Recommendation is to standardize a method of measurement and associated testconditions for use in the determination of the magnitude of current noise generated in fixed resistors,soas to make possible the comparison of the results of measurements.Limiting values of the magnitudeof current noise for acceptable performance are not specified.
It constitutes a description of the measurement system and procedures recommended for use in assessing the "noisiness"，or magnitude of current noise,generated in fixed resistors of any given type.
2.Scope
The method of measurement described in this Recommendation applies to all classes of fixed resistorsused in circuits where current noise is critical,e.g.in some low-signal-level audio and other low-frequency circuits.It is not intended as a general specification requirement.
